“Don't Stop The Peelin’' Healthy Ice Lollies

Makes one medium tub of lollies

 

It’s summer! I mean it’s FINALLY summer!

If anyone else is reading this who lives in the UK you will totally understand the explanation points. I feel like we’ve had a winter longer than Game of Thrones these past few months, so this week of sun seems like the end of an era.

And to celebrate, me & Sam have come up with a seriously easy recipe for what we like to call the “Don't Stop The Peelin’' Banana Peanut Butter Ice Lollies. Yeah, you better believe it’s as good as it sounds.

All you need is the list below (I say list, you will probably have all these items knocking about in your fridge/cupboards anyways…that’s’ the awesome bit)

Okay, so here we go:

 

 Ingredients

2 bananas
(the browner the better)

3/4 pot of natural Greek style yogurt (or 350g)

2 tablespoons of Peanut Butter

1 teaspoon of stevia

3-4 Biscuits!
(we have sugar-free digestives which you can get here)

Cocoa nibs or drak chocolate drops

Honey or MyProtein sugar-free Syrups
(You can get them here)

 

Instructions

You’re gonna love how easy this is….ready?

Break the banana up into little pieces, then put this with the yoghurt, peanut butter and stevia into the blender– Blend!

Then put into the lollie moulds or tub and add some broken biscuit pieces and cocoa drops by pushing them in gently. Add a drizzle of the honey or syrup over it, give it a swirl and make it pretty.

Freeze until hard and enjoy!

 

Because this is so easy, take some time to experiment. We’ve tried this with frozen fruit and stevia, protein powder, chunks of Grenade bars, anything really. If you don't have lolly moulds don't worry, this works perfectly with just a tub as well.

Now go out and enjoy that sun, we haven’t seen it in a decade and we need some serious vitamin D my friends!
